Lobster Boat Collecting Traps at Sunset on the Bay of Fundy

Last weekend we were with our friends sitting on the shore of the Bay. We watched one lone lobster boat make its way across the scene in front of the setting sun, picking up its traps as it went. The bright white and blue lights on the little boat seemed to glow brighter as the scene got darker. I was reminded of a scene that my Finnish friend +Mari Luukkonen had posted the day or so before. It doesn't matter where we are in the world, such scenes speak to all of us.

Have a lovely, peaceful weekend, all!

  1. SO peacefull this scene is Ellie, what a wonderful evening to spend there with friends! The light is at that time of the day one that I really like because of the collors that come out! xoxo

  2. Hi +Ellie Kennard I made another comment on your Calendar's post.  The curators you listed here goes back to the very beginning of the theme.  For some reason, that list seems to revert back every couple of months.  I'm wondering what a browser refresh would do.  Thanks very much!

  3. We can almost always see lobster for sale here, +Alex Lapidus. It's what they do! Glad you like it. You will see it for yourself soon.

    Thanks a lot +Shelly Gunderson

    +Sumit Sen thank you.

Thank you so much +Jasbir S. Randhawa and the very same to you. 😀

Thank you so much +Photo Mania Canada , +Giselle Savoie and +Mark HELM – your share and encouragement is much appreciated. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks +Mari Luukkonen – I believe that makes us kindred spirits (as we say in English). 😀

    +s.m. shahnawaz – thanks

+Charanjit Chani – I'm glad you think so. Thanks.

  4. Thanks very much +Margaret Tompkins – I'm glad you like it.
My list and urls all come from the Public Calendar (which many people use to find themes) and that is kept as up to date as the curators for each theme keep me informed. I cannot possibly visit all the hundreds of themes constantly to check if things have changed as I would be doing that all day, so I depend on the curators notifying me of changes.  The post link for that (easy to do) is here:

When that is updated, then all who access the calendar will have the right codes. I will update the calendar document just as soon as the comment goes on there with your new listing.

  5. Amazing photo +Ellie Kennard .  It indeed speaks, with no language needed.

For me, sky and cloud and vistas are synonymous with you. The moment I saw this photo (as the photo captures you first on the stream, than rest of the small prints and posts) I knew it was posted by you 🙂
