Nearly Coffee Time (99/365)

Starting as I mean to go on! With a huge espresso (black, +Lynn David Newton just as you like it) made specially for my friends on the #coffeethursday  team. (It must be Thursday very soon, somewhere…)

This is another of the mugs we have collected over the years. For some reason I think of it mostly when making hot chocolate. When I thought of taking a photograph for Coffee Thursday, this was a mug I wanted to share, so I set up the machine for a double shot of espresso, not noticing that the level of water had been pushed up above our usual. (I like it strong with less water.) By the time I noticed it was too late to change it and I watched (and photographed as it got fuller and fuller and then stopped, just as it hit the brim. It was a bit tricky to get it out from under the machine, but I managed. And I drank it all. I think I got a lot done that day!

I just got the call that coffee is ready today, so I had better post this and go and enjoy this next one. 😀 Happy Wednesday everyone!

  1. My absolute pleasure, +Stuart Dyckhoff and thanks for the hot tip about the straw! 😉

Let's see it, +Ursula Klepper – we should start up a #mugmonday  theme (just kidding, can barely deal with the theme I do have LOL!). 😀
    Australia it is!!

I'm trying to, +Sairam Sundaresan – and we have two more special mugs on the way from a potter in Ontario (I think they are the same as each other, so only worth one photograph, but still… think of that coffee in more special mugs!)

I was buzzing for quite a while that day +Turtle Mull

    Thanks +Jason Kowing

If you like my writing, +Susanne Stelle (and thank you for saying that) then I have a little treat in store for you, I hope. 😀 I used to have a blog which I closed down recently as I rarely posted to it once I started on G+. Now I have it running again, with my posts from G+ going to it. I am going to post a few of my stories that I had on my old blog there, and link to them from here, so people can go there to read the whole thing, if they want. They are different stories, but were for my writing, as it was before I took many photographs the way I do now. Also, some were from a long time ago, my times in Finland and France etc., so I had to use photographs that other people let me use. Keep your eyes peeled to spot the postings!
My blog address now is https://www.elliekennard.ca but I will link to them here, when they are made.
