At a recent going away party for friends, this Lighthouse cake was the centrepiece and was made by my friend +Anna Parsons (who is new to G+) who has a wonderful cake making business (Just a Couple of Chicks) in Nova Scotia. Feast your eyes on more of her cakes in her album. I think my favourite so far is the wonderful stack of old books. Just my kind of wedding cake! https://plus.google.com/u/0/108265704726654300550/posts

Thanks for the compliments, +Sumit Sen and +Chevelle Bowman ! I love making these unique ones, can't wait for the next one!
What a wonderful cake -work of a real artist.
It is really different!…
Well thank you +Heiko Mahr – a different kind of landscape, isn't it?
I really look forward to seeing the next creations by +Anna Parsons and Just a Couple of Chicks.
and your image is a artwork of it's own..
delicious to see.. like the cake!
Next ones will be better +Anna Parsons – with a bit of advance planning and not just walking in the door of a poorly lit hall! As long as I get to lick out the bowl!
Thank you +Heiko Köster . And thanks +Ellie Kennard for the great photo!

Thanks! Good morning/evening!+Ellie Kennard
Thank you, Ellie. I thought the rocks and wave would be eadable, but I just wasn't sure about the tower. What a great cake +Anna Parsons !
Every bit of it, +Heiko Köster including the rocks and waves at the bottom of the lighthouse. +Anna Parsons has the info…."Stacked cakes covered in fondant, with gum paste details, buttercream waves, a hand painted gum paste sign, and a working light!" I had some waves and they were excellent!
Wow ! This is incredible. What gorgeous cake. Thank you +Ellie Kennard for this wonderful submission.
Was the hole tower (except the lamp of course) eadable ?
And delicious +Chevelle Bowman and +Sumit Sen
Great work, this! 🙂
Cute cake, yummy!
