Although the apple blossoms are all finished and the apples are forming already, it’s not past the season in my library of plant photos, I’m glad to say. I make no apology for sharing this flower today as there is a change coming to my posts and I want to tell you about it. Currently we have a gallery of flowers containing 291 images which makes it really hard to go back to a post and see a full screen version of the flower image. So, starting July 1, there will be a Flower a Day gallery per month and you will see all of the flower photos for that month to date. The first gallery will be Flower a Day July 21, then Flower a Day Aug 21 and so on. Gradually I will make monthly galleries starting from the beginning of the project, all the way back to September 2020 as I have time. To test it out, I have begun with a couple of posts from May, which you can view here: Garden Star and Euphorbia. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to visit those links. I hope this makes it easier to see the full images for those who really like to view that way as there will never be more than 31 images per gallery. With the sweet smell of apple blossom in your imagination, have a lovely day my friends. A Flower a Day #291 for the project. (NB while I make every effort to identify the flowers I post, I make no guarantee that the name is correct. It’s about the photograph, not the name.:-) )

Beautiful, Ellie. This happy blossom, showing the way for its eager siblings, portends the tasty fruit to follow. What’s not to love about fruit tree blooms. They are so appealing, one can’t help but notice them…and isn’t that the point.
On the point of album reorganization, it’s a great idea – by month or colour or category, to reduce the size and make it more manageable, you have my vote.
Thank you, Ellie, for these daily posts.
Thanks and I agree with you on all points you bring up here, Janet. For the blossoms and the organizational arrangement. I hope it continues to make sense (and for easier viewing). Cheers. xo
Thanks Ellie it is beautiful. The White flowers with the contrasting pink buds and green leaves. Hope you are having a good day. Hugs to you as he Steve.
Apple blossoms will do it every time! Thanks Linda.
