This cheery flower on its tall stem appears to float above the garden, in my ‘rewilded’ patch. There are several of these in that patch, which is quite gratifying for me and for the insects and I notice that I took more photographs of one of these yesterday. I think that was because I was fascinated by the tiny detail in the centre and the way the pattern spreads along each petal and that each time I see a more recent bloom I think it looks even better than the last. I hope this brings some sunshine to your day, today. View all posts on the Home page. A Flower a Day #357

Nature doesn’t care that these 2 vibrant colours are adjacent on the colour wheel and therefore not supposed to be complimentary. Now I’m wondering why we care. I say ‘nature knows best’. Proof is in the looking. Thanks, Ellie, for this vivid choice.
So we won’t care! That’s so true, natural colour schemes never seem to clash. It’s only when we interfere, it seems. So let’s just admire them, as you say. Thanks again, Janet.
Beautifully captured!
Thank you, Françoise!
What a brilliant lovely color. I am always amazed at the centers of flowers. One lovely bright spot in a cloudy day. Thanks again for sharing hope you have a great day. Hugs to you and Steve.
Thanks, Linda. Steven thinks you (and I) might be part hummingbird, or bee as we both are so drawn to the centres of flowers. They are certainly interesting to see in detail. I’m glad you like this one. Hugs back.
