White Edged Poppy

In the background of the Crumpled Poppy post from a few days ago, you can see what I think is this white edged poppy. It almost stole the scene, so obviously I had to feature it at some point and that point is today. This is another delightful bloom from the garden of my green-fingered friend, Jane. When I look back on the great variety of different flowers that I photographed on that visit to her relatively modestly sized garden, it shows me how achieving such a wonderful garden is within the grasp of anyone who has a love for gardening and is prepared to put in the work.
