Treasure Flower

Why not have a ‘Treasure Flower’? All flowers seem to me to be treasures, but it seems that this one in particular has commandeered the name for itself! This is the sister to the Clown Flower (named by me) shared only a few days ago, sharing a pot, each one standing alone in its beauty. A flower is a treasure, as are our friendships. Friendships and flowers share so many traits, both helping us to see beauty in the world around us and feel happy with what we have. So today is a day to treasure everything around us, whether animals, birds, flowers, friends or family. Enjoy your day, my treasures! A Flower a Day #296  (NB while I make every effort to identify the flowers posted, I make no guarantee that the name is correct. It’s about the photograph, not the name.:-)

  1. A perfect specimen for a WWAD. This is so lovely, it’s like it was painted to compete in some ‘Miss Global Flower ‘ competition. The attention to detail and coordination of colours get my vote. I can’t imagine how this can be beat, but I am eager to see the next candidate. Thank you, Ellie, for the parade of beauties.

    1. So true, it’s as if it were painted! And will be hard to beat, for sure. We’ll keep trying, but of course, being fair, each one is a winner! If I fail to show that, then it’s entirely my fault. Thank you Janet!

  2. Amazing Ellie. What a different flower – colour, shape, design – the center almost looks like another flower within a flower to me. Certainly is a bright cheery spot for the day which might turn out sunny. Thanks again for sharing and brightening our day. Hugs to you and Steve.

    1. Absolutely agree! Such a different flower, quite amazing in its intricacy and design. They never cease to amaze me, Linda. Thanks for the hugs and comment.
