I’m not yet finished with England as far as my stories go, but this simply expressive photograph caught my attention today and I thought I would put it up to share. It’s one of the last taken on that trip, during our breakfast at Gatwick airport before we left and it doesn’t need anything more in the way of description.

Very nice Ellie. I like the foil Christmas tree he is sitting in front of. The reflection from it really finishes the image
Thanks a lot for the thoughts, Simon, as well as for the reshare! Have a lovely weekend.
This is magical. And whenever something is, I try to figure out why I think so. Certainly, it is the pose of the man with is arm making a triangle, and of course his reflection. but also, the receding counter and the other triangles made by light fixtures we can’t see that recede right along with the counter. So beautifully seen and composed. Actually, Ellie, I’m in AZ, dealing with Agents, Mortgage Brokers, my CPA, the attorney for the sale of my condo…and on and on. But I thought it might put a little grace into my morning if I checked out your post. It did.
I read and reread your lovely comment over and over again, Sandra, as it had so much thoughtful insight. Thanks so much, my friend. I’m glad that you found it to be a bright spot in a busy morning. 😀 And thanks for taking the time to think through your reaction to the image and to post your thoughts here. Enjoy your time in AZ, in any spare time.
Wow! Great shot, Ellie!!!
Thanks a lot, Sharon!
Nice display of light. Like the shadow on the wall
Thank you, Linda! I liked it too!
