Red Petunia
Today it’s time for a bright splash of red to cheer your Tuesday, my friends! I seem to remember that this Petunia beauty was in a planter, probably in our village main street and no doubt I caught it on a walk one afternoon or evening. There is little else to observe about this as it really speaks for itself, like a red trumpet calling for attention. So I am giving it the appreciation it deserves. I hope this colourful flower wakes you up ready for your day! View all posts on the Home page. A Flower a Day #409

A splash of red! Perfect for a gray and rainy day in Ontario. This petunia can speak for itself, being a trumpet, a herald and the model for the old RCA victrola speaker (or so it seems). It delivers it message of joy loud and clear. Thank you, Ellie, for today’s messenger.
Thank you Janet. A trumpeter and messenger indeed. I’m glad you got the message from this red liveried announcer. In a day or two we will see what it was declaring… 😉
Good morning Ellie. Yes it’s a nice wake up to Tuesday. I love the texture the petals. Petunias are beautiful such a variety of colours. Thanks again for sharing Hope you and Steve have a great day.
Thanks Linda. I know many of our mothers planted petunias, while now I suspect that many of us will be planting zinnias next year, as we said yesterday. Enjoy your day!
