Pale Marigold

Pale Marigold

Pale, frilly, fluffy nestly, boudoir Marigold

This is such a frilly, fluffy nestly, boudoir kind of flower, this pale, soft marigold that I fear it will put off the male viewers of the post. But maybe not, as everyone, even the most macho of men has a softer side, and this will hopefully speak to that in everyone. Once again this is the product of one of the seeds in the little white envelope so I don’t have any idea of the variety. The good thing about that is that I get to name it, and I think my choice is pretty creative, don’t you? Once again I am being bathed in golden sunlight through the leaves outside of my window as I write this, as despite the wind and rain we have had, there are still a lot of them clinging desperately to the branches. So I wish you all a glowing golden day, with a good amount of soft, gentle moments like this flower, to bring you joy. View all posts on the Home page.  A Flower a Day #419

  1. This is Betty White on “Golden Girls”, a little past her ‘best before’ date but still going strong, and looking good wearing her frilly apron. And like Betty White always does, this rendition of her made me smile. Thank you, Ellie, for the reminder that we should never give up until we are ready to.

    1. I will take your word on the resemblance as I have never had the pleasure of meeting the ‘Betty White’ of whom you speak. She must be quite some lady if she is past her best but still looking great. May we all have such things thought or said about us, Janet. Thank you!

  2. It is a beautiful little flower Ellie. Even though it’s a paler yellow it’s still a lovely bright spot in an another wise dull day. And when you zoom in really highlights the features of the flowers the frilly parts and the centres just amazing. Thanks again for sharing hugs to you and Steve.

    1. I agree with you, Linda, the pale colour can be just as pretty as the rich and more striking ones. Thank you again for your lovely comment. Hugs back to you both.
