Today’s flower has to be something showy, almost flashy, with a lovely evening glow to warm the heart. Though this year’s dahlias are now being dug up for winter storage, this memory of one of our favourites is here to keep us all looking forward to a bright, sunny and warm time next year when these will once again bloom so cheerfully. I hope the warmth and light in this reaches the hearts of my friends wherever you may be.
