Cape Daisy
This pretty flower was photographed at the local private garden I have mentioned in the past. The colours of it were so lovely and obviously another beloved of insect life. I was thinking, as the name is ‘daisy’ that I would be declaring another World Wide Aster Day, but it seems that they are not technically asters at all! I’ll look for more aster photographs so we can have one of those soon. Meanwhile enjoy a Daisy Day and I hope it’s a wonderful one, friends. Flower a Day #460
Fall Colours 2021

After the Walk
We went for a woodland walk through the Ravine nearby one late afternoon late in October, for a change of scene. While it was interesting, in a climbing up and then sliding down leaf deep slopes kind of way, it was dark and rather gloomy except for the odd glancing sun ray that penetrated to ground level. It was good exercise, at least. But when we came out into a clearing near where the car was parked, the setting sun was hitting the trees at the edge of the wood. It was gorgeous! Enjoy the end of the walk view, my friends.

December 21 Gallery :
A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from December 2021
Absolute perfection, both of these shots. Nature can’t do it any better. Thank you, Ellie, for capturing its beauty and sharing it.
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment, Janet. Your appreciation (of my captures and the subject matter) means a lot.
Thank you so much Ellie both photos are amazing. Love the little Daisy the colour and then again the centre how it looks like a little bouquet all of its own with two different colour flowers in it. I can see where the insects are attracted to it. What a beautiful burst of sunshine on the colour of the trees amazing shot. Would love to be able to have a space on my wall where I could display all those lovely photos. Thanks again for sharing hope you and Steve have a great day.
Thanks so much, Linda. I always know what part of the photo is going to draw your attention the most and often think of it when choosing pictures to share here.
The leaves have been beautiful this year. The last one for this year is coming tomorrow and I have saved what I consider the best for the last. Hugs to you both.
