Bluebird Hydrangea
I had a near mutiny the other day when I suggested that I would not be sharing hydrangea photographs for fear of boring my readers! I am hoping this pretty offering will pacify those who let me know they are definitely NOT bored by hydrangeas. There will be more, as I love them myself. This particular one is a blue beauty that is on an industrial park, near Steven’s favourite woodworking tool store. I’m sure they are all withered and gone now, but we have this lovely picture to remind us of the height of their season. Each season has its beauty, as a regular reader pointed out, so I must try to remember that when I look out over a white landscape, devoid of all flowers. Enjoy the day, everyone. Such rich colours, such thoughtful design…this a brooch that I would be honoured to wear over my heart. Thank you, Ellie, for this dear gift.
What a beautiful thought – using this lovely group as a natural brooch. I love that idea and will think of that for the rest of the day. Thanks again, Janet.
Thanks Ellie it is a beautiful photo. I love that color blue. I love the way you captured it with a few petals open and the rest ready to burst forth. Thanks again for sharing and I don’t think any of us get tired of any type of flowers whatsoever. Hope you have a good day thanks to you and Steve.
Thanks for that lovely comment, Linda. That blue is pretty special, I agree. I wonder if those open flowers on the edge are, as in some varieties, sterile, meant to draw pollinators to the centre parts? Thanks so much, again. Hugs to you both.
