Blossom

The other night I dreamed of blossoms. I dreamt that I was out walking and I saw a wild plum or other fruit tree with blossoms on it. I remember I couldn’t believe how early they were flowering, with snow still deep on the ground and temperatures well into the minus range. I ran back to the house to get my camera and tell Steven about them, and when we came back out, all of the fruit trees were in full bloom! It looked amazing, just full of white along all of the branches, and it really would have been, as June is the month we get blossoms. (This photograph was taken June 6th last year.) Dreams of happy future times can fill us with a hope that lifts our spirits in the darkest of days. So don’t stop dreaming, my friends! Flower a Day #521 View all posts on the Home page.
