Because a Rose
Because a rose is just what we need sometimes to make our day! I do hope that today’s lovely grouping helps to do that for you, especially as there is more than one rose here, so that must be even better, don’t you think? I hope you don’t all get dentist envy when you read this, but once again these flowers were outside of my dentist’s building. As you enter and you see these, if you’re feeling nervous, your spirits are immediately lifted. As you leave (and by then hopefully you know that it wasn’t as bad as you feared) they make you smile with relief. So whether or not you have something you are anxious about today or not, let’s hope these roses have a positive and uplifting effect on your day. View all posts on the Home page. A Flower a Day #441

November 21 Gallery :
A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from November 2021
Hi Ellie … Not everyday someone sends me a rose …. Still raining in Oz but we are decorating the tree again for Christmas . I know you do not do it but I need the exercise climbing up the ladder as this tree is 12foot high …Best to all in NS …..
I’m happy to send you a rose, Len and hope it brightens the rainy day for you. We have similar weather, but mixed in with some snow, so not too much fun, just cold, icy and miserable. No, no decorating of trees here, at least for us, we get our exercise in other ways! Best to all in Aus!
How can it not make one smile?! A perfect portrait of a mother and her children snuggling in close to her, all smiling and pretty in shades of pink. Love can be felt across all species and always serves to warm one’s heart. I feel the love here, Ellie. Thank you.
This little grouping was, of course, right near the 5 sisters (or is it 7 sisters?), so all sorts of cosy family connections of the rose kind. I’m always happy to spread a little love where I can, thanks, Janet.
Thank you so very much Ellie. It is a lovely bouquet of roses which we are happy to receive any day. It’s nice to see the one that is fully opened but to know you will still have more enjoyment from the buds that are yet to burst open. I will think of that when I go to the dentist next time.
Always happy to send a rose! I’ll see if I have another for another time. And feel free to encourage your dentist in his/her gardening endeavours. 🙂 Thanks Linda.
