Aster Profusion
I promised to find you some asters so that we could celebrate another World Wild Aster Day and I always try to keep my promises, so today is the day. This sweet grouping of wild asters can take us back to the lovely month of September, when we didn’t have to think of putting on extra coats, scarves, hats and mittens, not to mention high visibility jackets, just to go for a walk. We could wear light shoes and get some speed up, not laden with heavy boots. Now that is something to look forward to again next year! We do get a beautiful winter light now, especially lovely when there is snow on the ground and the trees, so I know that we should treasure each season and not yearn too much for the next. That would be wishing our lives away, so we won’t do that! Enjoy today for today, my dear friends. Hugs to all. Flower a Day #464 View all posts on the Home page.

December 21 Gallery :
A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from December 2021
Like a schoolyard full of kindergarteners, each little face turned eagerly towards the camera, pleading to have its picture taken, perfect in their individuality. I love them all. Thank you, Ellie, for this WWAD.
They do seem like eager children, Janet, that is a nice interpretation. Thanks for the comment and for enjoying the WWAD yesterday.
Thanks so much Ellie it is a lovely flower. The elongated petals are really different on the flower. the centre looks like a little pitchers ready to catch water. It is true that each season has its own beauty. Hope you have a great day hugs back to you and Steve.
I knew you would like the centre, Linda, even as I prepared it! I am glad you appreciate the beauty in each season, too. We might as well, or we will be pretty miserable for a lot of the year! Thanks again, Linda. Hugs back. (Sorry they are delayed)
