Dahlia Bursting With Light
Today is another dahlia day with this glorious burst of light. This is, we think, the Tahiti Sunrise variety and it was growing in our own garden. I love how this almost looks like spectacular fireworks going off in the dark sky, with smaller bursts around and behind it. We try so hard to reproduce the beauty in the natural world around us and fall short of the mark every time! If we can’t recreate it, we can continue to admire and appreciate it whenever we see it. Have a lovely day, full of such beauty wherever you see it. Flower a Day #528 View all posts on the Home page.

February 2022 Gallery :
A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from February 2022.

Bursting with light, or bursting with life- I think both apply to this splendid young dahlia which is just starting to reveal its singular form of beauty. Thank you, Ellie, i needed a display of loveliness on this dull and dark day.
Definitely both! Ok forward of it helped to lift the dull, dark gray a little. My thanks to you, Janet!
Thanks so much for sharing that beautiful flower. It was a burst of sunlight. And I agree it does look like fireworks going off in the sky with the bright center and all the sparkles and colours around. Hope you have a great day. Hugs to you and Steve. Get him to send a hug to Derek for me.
Thanks so much Linda, I’m glad you like my mini firework display. And thanks for all hugs. I will forward Derek’s to him. He needs it just now (but don’t we all?).
