This is one of those lovely flowers that I photographed at this time last year, before this project began. Though the Flower a Day idea was not yet developed, I had obviously started sowing the seeds for it and was working on the idea. This good size bush is thick with blooms and I seem to remember taking what would have been my usual photograph, of the whole beautiful bush, covered in yellow. As you know the project now, my focus is more usually on a bloom or a few, to highlight the details rather than the effect of the mass. With these, they were growing so thickly that it was almost impossible to just feature one, so here are several lovely roses to greet your day! Have a good day, hopefully with nice weather and some sunshine. A Flower a Day #302 (NB while I make every effort to identify the flowers posted, I make no guarantee that the name is correct. It’s about the photograph, not the name.:-) )

These remind me of fancy ladies dressed in their sunny finery, perhaps to attend high tea. Beautiful!
Thank you, Ellie
Just that exact note of elegance! Thanks for that mental picture, Janet.
They are beautiful bright and cheery. Can only imagine what the whole Bush would have looked like. But like you say we need to take the time to look at them individually to appreciate the designs the colors the textures. Thanks again for sharing I hope you have a lovely day. Hugs to you and Steve
The whole bush was really glorious. But I’m glad you enjoyed the detail of these, thanks again Linda. It does look a lovely day. Hope you enjoy yours.
