Everyone was happily playing on the beach, fishing, swimming or wading when we walked along with Joni. The drone of this little bi-plane didn't even really break the peacefulness of the scene, in fact it almost seemed to intensify it. This typical summer Sunday beach afternoon on a hot August day could easily have looked very similar back in the 1920's

Thanks a lot +Karen Cooper – I didn't figure you for a plane lover, knowing how much you love your flowers and plants. But there is nothing that says you can't love both. There was a great feeling seeing the pilot's head looking over the side of the plane in my photographs of it. 😀
How cool is this! I saw an AWACS yesterday – and although as a plane lover I was quite impressed, I have to admit an modern military aircraft over a tower block in inner city Leicester doesn't have quite the same romance as a biplane over the ocean :o)
Thanks +Jason Jakober – and I know you meant the posting method! 😀
That was what it felt like, +Carl Pettypiece – thanks.
+Susanne Stelle – thank you so much
I thought so, too, +Adrian Rodriguez thanks!
I felt that it was a very peaceful kind of a sight, thanks +Annie Gee – even the drone of the plane was calming. The dogs weren't at all put out by it.
Thanks +Ursula Klepper – I was choosy as to how I wanted it to look to give the right feel. It was a nice surprise when the plane appeared. 😀
+Shelly Gunderson – the scene actually did have that sort of timelessness about it, even the reality.
Thank you +Sumit Sen
Thanks a lot +Jasbir S. Randhawa
+שלמה ארגוב thanks for the smiley. Nice to see you again.
