I love wild asters. In fact I love these little flowers so much that I want to nominate today to be ‘World Wild Aster Day’. They are everywhere in the late summer and fall and they always seem to be such joyous little flowers in their bunches at the edge of woods and fields, I can’t stop photographing them. (This is your fair warning that there may will be more wild aster photos to come.) In fact here is another photograph of the flowers for you to enjoy. I hope they help make your day a happier one!
The Flower a Day Gallery with current content is below. Each day a new photo will be added. With these new additions there are now 26 to view. Click or tap to view full size.

I totally agree with your post, Ellie. These little guys also come in yellow and gorgeous blue, spreading their joy far and wide. A great choice for a dull and rainy day, here in Ontario. Thank you.
I’m glad if these were timely, thanks Janet! There will be more before this project finished. I have them in all the colours they have them in here.
I love them for their unique fresh and simple simplicity!
We think alike here, too, my friend! Thank you.
I love them too. They are so bright and cheerful. They really pick you up when you see them. Look like a baby daisy. Thanks for the double pick me up.
They do look like baby daisies. I never tire of them. It’s my pleasure, Linda.
