A tiny spray of white radish flowers is today’s Flower a Day share. The deceptively cool and frail looking blooms look so delicate and inoffensive that it’s hard to imagine the strength of the heat in the red globes in the ground that produced them. I wish all of you a day filled with the strong warmth of friendship, even if you feel this affection from a distance in these strange times.

As you say, Ellie, the fragility and delicacy of these tiny petals belie their origin, the potent radish. Once again I’m grateful to you for showing me something I’d never seen before. The red root gets all the attention leaving these little white petals lost to the world at large. Thank you for these little beacons of strength.
I’m so glad that you share my excitement in my discoveries, Janet! It’s such a pleasure for me too. Thanks.
