It was a wonderful sight! Outdoor free range pigs running around in the snow and foraging in the field. They were as curious as children, not in the least bit shy… as you see. Now you understand the expression 'piggy eyes'. They are pretty small, but the eyelashes are impressive!

What a wonderful animal shot..
Almost +Sumit Sen, almost 😀
We raised them ourselves in France, +Robt. J. Moore II – and I have to say that some did not exhibit the greatest amount of intelligence, however that is another story!
Yes indeed! +שלמה ארגוב
You do, +Ursula Klepper – they are so funny!
Thanks +Jasbir S. Randhawa
Amazing aren't they +Tanya Stollznow? Thanks!
I'm glad you like it, Janet and yes, I do know you have a special fondness for them. +Janet Patterson – not sure if it's a he or a she, though. Didn't look. But I did get very wet kneeling on the ground to get at piggy eye level.
He (she?) is beautiful +Ellie Kennard. You know I have a soft place for these creatures. Judging by his colouring, he's probably an Irish pig and so it's fitting that I should comment today. Great pic. Love it.
You arte right about the eyelashes +Ellie Kennard Nicely captured! 🙂
+Ellie Kennard A cutie with awesome eyelashes! 🙂

I do love pigs. We raised them when I was a kid.
