Reflecting on Ontario – 34/365

This was taken on our trip through Ontario last October. While Steven was teaching his workshops in Ottawa, I got to explore the countryside. The weather was bright on this one particular day and the leaves reflected in the water had a rich golden tone. They almost looked like a mosaic. I feel warmer just looking at this and remembering how peaceful it all was.

This is another day when I get to treat myself by going through photographs I took in the past that have not been shared. I have had this one in my sights for a while and so today is the day it will see the light (and just to confuse matters further, it is for yesterday's submission).

  1. 😀 Ursula. You often do, in such a great way! Keep up the trying to stand on your head. It will keep you young.
    "You are old, Father William," the young man said,
    "And your hair has become very white;
    And yet you incessantly stand on your head—
    Do you think, at your age, it is right?"

    "In my youth," Father William replied to his son,
    "I feared it might injure the brain;
    But now that I'm perfectly sure I have none,
    Why, I do it again and again."

  2. Thanks again +Shannon S. Myers – I appreciate your comments.
    Ursula, I just tried looking at my laptop screen upside down after I read your comment! It does look like an illusion. The floating leaves are the only odd thing then… I laughed at the thought of you with your iPad turning everything back for you! Stand on your head! +Ursula Klepper

  3. Very beautiful, it looks like painted! And the colors are so bride! Have you tried to turn it all around? How would it look like, if the trees would stand streight? I tried, but the IPad turnes it back… :o). …. Ok I just let the IPad lay down and looked from the other side, and it is also gorgeous, like an illusion!
