Today’s daily happiness flower post features a pink hydrangea photographed around this time last year when we were in Maine. Steven was teaching a week’s course in the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship and we stayed in a small apartment whose gardens featured a line of hydrangeas down the drive. I took my camera with my helios lens and started photographing the flowers that I saw. They were so lovely though starting to show the signs of fading. And then I saw this one with the sun highlighting it and here it is for you. I hope this spot of sun on the flowers warms and cheers everyone on this day. Stay warm, dry, safe and well everyone.

I like when flowers start fading! They are at the peak of their beauty.
It’s true! I wish I could say the same of people. But in some ways that’s true as well.. thanks Françoise.
It’s a little piece of heaven! I love the way you achieved the swirly blur. =)
I’m so glad you like it, Banafshe! Thank you for the lovely comment. 😀 x
