This snow, at least was forecast, unlike yesterday's. But when I came downstairs this morning, I could not see the car parked in front of the house. While Steven plowed the drive to clear it so that I could get to my eye doctor appointment, I dragged the recycling and garbage to the edge of the drive. This is the scene from there. He is fast getting to the point of not having somewhere to push it, we have such a buildup – of water – ridiculous, isn't it? I have another couple of photos to add to this saga which I will post shortly, but this is the one I chose for the project, for my friends +Charles Strebor and +Natosha Davis for their themes.

Amazing, +Rosie Nixon.
I have ancestors that came from Scotland in the 1500's 😀
Scotland in the 16th Century 🙂 two of my kids played curling at primary school +Natosha Davis
Curling is such an interesting sport. Wonder who came up with it.
You're most welcome, Mr. Cable +Charles Strebor
+Patricia dos Santos Paton 🙂
It is a pile of snow, +Heiko Mahr – in the supermarket parking lots there are huge mountains of it. But there always is, all winter.
I doubt it, +Rosie Nixon – we've had more snow on other years we lived here, when Steven couldn't even plough the drive completely and we had to use only a part of it. It was a result of two major blizzards in two weeks that dumped so much snow that it never went until the Spring.
It does get to look pretty ugly here, too, +Ursula Klepper – and this is why I caught this when it was new. They need to plough the road before they put the salt on, but it hadn't happened at that point. 🙂
+Doug Welch 🙂
+Dan Mac you are so right… on both counts!
It is +Sofie Løve Forsberg
I bet we can keep it, +Natosha Davis – but I guess it makes for good hockey players and curlers? Except of course that no one does either out of doors anymore. Hope your weather improves, too.
+Rob Lopes – snow on the way by Fedex. Should clear customs by the weekend! No more bleh if you don't want it. Although I could do with the warmer temps about now. Without bugs, of course.
It is, and it was +Janet Patterson already looks completely different as it is warmer today.
Thank you +Sumit Sen – serious snow removal involved, for sure.
+Bette Kauffman 🙂
It should be fun for children +Salina Olivia if only they still played in it… which I suspect most don't anymore.
Wow! that's a lot of snow! But so beautiful white and clean! If we would have as much snow here it would look diferent because of the many salt which is scattered…. :o) stay warm!!
you folks are having it so rough – it's been the wettest winter here in the UK since 1910 … I'm wondering if your snow will break records too Ellie?
What a PILE of snow..
Looks like you have mountains of it now..
That's a different HWY 221 than the one we know
Wow!
Wowza… that's some snow goin' on – thanks for the +Cableicous
I like snow, I think that's pretty much it. And I want to play with it.
Wow!
That is serious snow. Lovely!
Well now, that is SNOW +Ellie Kennard. It hardly looks like the same road that I know. Good thing's it's only a temporary condition.
Please send storm to California ASAP! It's 72 degrees and blue skies. Meh and bleh sums up the mood here.
holy moses.
yeah you can keep all that.
well, i don't want what we have right now either: thunderstorms with potential tornadoes BUT it's 66 degrees!
Very impressive !
It's pretty all so a pain in the butt .
Oh,my!!!
