Hydrangeas are one of my favourite flowers. My house is filled with dried ones in the winter and I love the fresh ones in the summer. They are so diverse in their colours and the way the flowers display. Today’s Flower a Day one was taken at the end of the summer hiding deep in dark green foliage next to a Lee Valley store in the city and I believe it is called “paniculata Siebold”. I liked the blotched pink and red colours on each white petal, so wanted to feature them up close. I send you all warm wishes for a good day.
