This time my a Flower a Day to wish you all a wonderful day (or evening) is a photograph that I am so delighted is to be published in print as part of a collection of images taken from July to September of this year in a photographic group to which I belong. This is a member of the sunflower family, known as hawkweed – Hieracium being the official name. It’s closely related to the dandelion you can tell), chicory, prickly lettuce and sow thistle.
I am also featuring, for those who have already seen today’s photograph, an older post of mine from the days of G+. This image is of a wonderful flower, a favourite of mine, a Passiflora or Passion Flower, looking to me as if it had been designed by someone in Pixar Studios. You can see the photograph by viewing in the gallery below, and you will find the original post here. With these two beautiful flowers I am sending my warm regards to all my friends today and wishing you a weekend filled with beauty wherever you may be.
The Flower a Day Gallery with current content is below. Each day a new photo will be added. With today’s post and additional throwback post image there are now 92 to view. Click or tap to view full size.
