There seem to be so many of these calliopsis, coreopsis type flowers with different markings and petals, each of which has its own beauty. This is another (yes, another) from my rewilded patch, which, as I said the other day, is turning into a treasure trove of flowers for my project. This sunny bloom has lovely serrated golden petals surrounding its small, compact centre so that it’s hard to believe it is not some exotic plant from a hothouse, but growing wild(ish) among the grasses and weeds in Nova Scotia. I hope it brings a smile to the start of your day and week, my friends. View all posts on the Home page. A Flower a Day #373
