Echinacea, Purple Coneflower
Another stage of those beautiful purple coneflowers, this is a lovely delicate one, without a trace of purple visible. I think this came from our visit to the local gardens opened to the public. You possibly remember that visit, as I described the automated lawnmower they had. Today I am going to let you fill in your thoughts while looking at it, as I’m sure you have just as creative minds as I do. It’s a kind of ‘do it yourself’ post. I supply the flower, you supply the words! Please write them to me in the comments if you feel inclined. I do wish you all a lovely day, my friends. View all posts on the Home page. A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from November 2021
The way you’ve captured this coneflower, Ellie, it looks like it’s flying through the air with it’s cape flowing out behind it, singing “I can fly, I can fly, I can fly!” Thank you,Ellie, for enabling this flight of fancy in me. Forever grateful.
It’s always a pleasure to inspire a flight of fancy, Janet. Or even a flying visit!? Thanks again for your appreciation. Have a lovely day. It’s really foggy and sunny at the same time here.
Thank you very much Ellie, love the delicate colour. And of course I am again drawn to the centre. I’m not sure just how to describe that. It can either look like a pin cushion or maybe a porcupine with all those little quills coming out from The middle. Hope you have a great day hugs to you and Steve.
Thanks again, Linda. Yes, both are great descriptions of that centre. The coneflower really shines in that department. Enjoy your day.
Tick that one Ellie …..
Check! Thanks Len. Ticked. ✔️
