Deep Blue Hydrangea
There are so many hydrangea types and colours, each with its own appeal and beauty and this deep blue is one of the more striking ones. I love to dry and display hydrangeas indoors in the winter, but the blues are quite tricky and usually, instead of drying nicely, they wilt and get thrown out. I can’t understand why this would be, but the result is that I appreciate their rich loveliness all the more. This is posted especially for my friend Jim, who particularly loves these flowers. 😉 For all friends, everywhere! Enjoy your day. View all posts on the Home page. A Flower a Day #434

November 21 Gallery :
A gallery of flowers shared on a daily basis to cheer myself and hopefully you, the viewer too, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period. Posts from November 2021
Wow! That one takes my breath away…
Thanks, Lynne, it was a beauty to see. I’m glad I got the photo.
This is such a lovely colour. Don’t think I have seen one quite that blue. Thanks so much for sharing. It is beautiful.
It’s a rare one, don’t think I had seen one like it myself before. Thanks Linda.
This is rich, Ellie, like a cluster of morning glories. I’d forgotten hydrangeas also come in blue…another one to add to my list. Thank you, Ellie, for the luxurious reminder.
I’m glad to have reminded you of these beauties, Janet. And happy to have added to your list. You are most welcome.
I shall tick that one Ellie …. Looking forward to some winter shots ?
Thanks, Len. Give us a chance to enjoy the last of the fall weather before demanding winter scenes please! I do have an Autumn colours post to make at some point soon. And I’m afraid I hope you don’t get the winter scenes soon. Because that means too much time spent for Steven shoveling and removing snow from the drive.
