Bees on wild asters
Bees on wild asters

Keeping with the bee theme on my Flower a Day project (although that is a slight stretch here as the bee yesterday did not feature very prominently) today we are being treated to a couple of bees on wild asters. “Is this another WWAD (World Wild Aster Day)?” I hear you asking, and my answer is “Why Not?”.

Please hug your loved ones today if you can… and every day. We are too far from ours to be able to do that in this pandemic and I know that some of you are dealing with the same situation. So I send a hug and my love the only way I can right now. We all need to know that we are loved however far we are away from our family and friends.

The Flower a Day Gallery with current content is below. Each day a new photo will be added. With today’s post there are now 66 to view. Click or tap to view full size.

If you wish to you can subscribe here if you have not already, to be sure to get my daily flowers in your inbox!

  1. Two bee? or not two bee? There is no question… that this is a bee-autiful capture, Ellie, reminding us that we can bee diligent and work cooperatively side by side. And of course, this is another WWAD. I see the asters, with their lovely colors and outstretched petals, as a symbol of warmth and love, which I send back to you here.

  2. Thank you very much for the hugs for the pictures and the bees. Thinking of you and Steve especially at this time. Love the colour of those flowers as well they’re bright and cheery which is what we need every day thanks again
